Founded in 1933, ZB Nomel SAS is a competent and reliable partner to a wide range of industries in the field of cold-pressed and stamped parts.

History:

  • In 1933, Albert Chaix Engineer “Arts et Métiers” founded the Nomel company to manufacture and sell the Eventail® Washers for which it holds the patent. This 1st manufacturing workshop was located in a garage in Paris (France).
  • In 1939, with a view to expanding his production area, Albert Chaix decided to transfer his factory to a new plant in Dreux (France).
  • In 1975, in the aim to be more integrated founding of a rolling mill unit in a 2nd plant in Dreux.
  • In 1976, production of the first nuts.
  • In 1977, Nomel resumes the manufacture of Circlips® and retaining Rings abandoned by the company Virax.
  • From June 1989, gradual transfer of main factory in the current plant in La Ferté Fresnel.
  • In 1992, finalization of the site transfer. Integration of the company into the Valois Industries Group.
  • In 1996, integration of the company into the Textron Industries Group.
  • In 2006, integration of the company into the Acument Global Technologies Group.
  • In 2010, integration of the company into the Lisi Automotive Group.
  • In 2024, closure of the rolling mill unit
  • From 1st March 2025, integration of the company into the ZeroBaseInvest Group.
